jasper lilith hyams turned all of one year old today!  she has rocked our world for the fastest year of our lives – it is almost unbelieveable that such a little miracle is ours…

so jasper likes to pull books down from one of my bookshelves in our room – usually, she just sits there and plays, gnaws or flips through it – but this time, she comes pulling and pushing the book into the kitchen…i go into the bedroom expecting her usual “redecorating” but turns out that she [...]

so jasper has gotten to where she likes to climb on top of one of the dogs beds (usually mockers but roans will do too) and either just sit there and play with a toy or bounce around looking ridiculously pleased with herself…she also uses mockers bed as “base” for our games of chase-the-baby…she crawls [...]

this chickie loves the scale – we keep it in jons closet and when jasper goes into his closet (every morning while he is getting dressed), she heads straight for that scale…she likes to climb on top of it and sit, crouch, stand or teeter on it…she squeezes every part of her body on to that [...]
