the trio…

pop and arnetta have been staying with us for a bit and arnetta got a great picture of jon, pop and jasper lilith playing on the floor…we have the laughing one (that would be jon) and the two rather intent ones – heads down in what seems to be identical forms of concentration

day 5 of the black eye…

it looks even worse now but i have gotten over the embarrassment part of it…bumps, bruises and black eyes are just part of any active toddlers repertoire…or would that be portfolio?

the day the bathtub took a swipe at the jasper lilith…

and the bathtub won…there was an Incident…this Incident involved little jasper and the very hard side of the bathtub….she took it upon herself to stand up in the tub and for some reason, unbeknown-est to me, she then decided to fall before i could catch her…and fall she did…

dancing queen…

i was only able to catch the tail end (ha!  pun intended!)of her dancing to jack johnson – man, she was getting down!  but here is at least at little snippet of jasper lilith bouncing to the music…well, sort of

ahhh, the zoo…

we took jasper to the zoo for her first on-foot excursion – we didn’t even take the stroller!  it was a good weather day – overcast, barely there rain and around 76 degrees - so we took last minute advantage of such a day and ran to the zoo about an hour before it closed

high tech…it is the weekend thing to do…

we have found a new toy!  my mp3 player is the new black, apparantly!  i put an earbud in and jasper puts an earbud in (or against her cheek or somewhere in the general vicinity of her ear) and we listen to the music…i don’t even have to put it up to her ear for [...]

running girl…

no longer is jasper content to be held for very long or sit in the stroller – she is a girl with a mission…i dont know what that mission is and i am not sure she knows either but it is prime!
we have been going to the park in the afternoons so she can run around [...]
