all this week, it has been cold enough for a fire and jon finally built one for us!!! doesn’t it just scream marshmallows, hot cocoa, cozy blankets and snuggle bunnies?
jasper lilith loves when we have a fire in the hearth – she likes to sit by it and remind us that it is “hottttt!” if she thinks we are too close…
our christmasy mantle complete with scottish piper…
once the fire is fully going, jasper starts chanting, “fire! fire! pretty fire! look, mama! look, daddee! fire pretty!” while jumping up and down excitedly…
it surely is pretty, sugar plum!
really, how warm and friendly does that look? i think i am going to put this post on hold and go out to the living room to snuggle with my two peoples…

ok, i am back… and here is jasper lilith!! very excited about roasting marshmallows!!
i think she must have 1/2 a marshmallow on her face all ready
